Welcome to WAVGems.com. By accessing our website and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Authenticity & Disclosures

WAVGems.com adheres to strict industry standards regarding the disclosure of gemstone treatments and origins.

• Treatments: Many gemstones are traditionally treated (e.g., heat, oiling, irradiation) to enhance color or clarity. We will disclose all known treatments for any stone sold.

• Lab-Grown vs. Natural: Any gemstone created in a laboratory will be clearly labeled as "Lab-Grown," "Synthetic," or "Created." If no such label is present, the stone is sold as a natural, mined gemstone.

• Weights: Carat weights are measured using calibrated digital scales. Please allow for a professional margin of error of \bm{\pm 0.01} to \bm{0.02} carats.

2. Digital Representation & Grading

• Photography: We strive to provide high-resolution images and videos. However, gemstone appearance (color, saturation, and "fire") can vary significantly depending on the user’s monitor settings and lighting conditions.

• Grading Standards: Unless accompanied by a third-party certificate (e.g., GIA, IGI, AIGS), grading is the opinion of WAVGems.com based on industry-standard education and experience.

3. Pricing and Payments

• All prices are listed in [American Cash]. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

• Orders are not considered "accepted" until payment is cleared and we issue a shipping confirmation.

• International Orders: Customers are responsible for all VAT, customs duties, and import taxes imposed by their respective countries.

4. Shipping and Risk of Loss

• Transfer of Risk: Risk of loss or damage to the gemstone passes to the buyer once the item is delivered to the shipping carrier.

• Insurance: For your protection, all high-value shipments are sent with carrier insurance and require a signature upon delivery.

• Unboxing: We strongly recommend filming a video of the unboxing process. This serves as vital evidence in the rare event of a shipping damage claim.

5. Professional Use & Liability

• Setting Risks: WAVGems.com is not liable for any damage caused to a gemstone by a third-party jeweler during the setting, mounting, or resizing process.

• Limited Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, WAVGems.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the purchase or use of our products. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the item in question.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on WAVGems.com—including photography, descriptions, and logos—is the exclusive property of WAVGems.com. Unauthorized use of our gemstone photography for resale or commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Louisiana, United States]. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of [Gonzales, Ascension Parish].
